Welcome to Bridebase. Bridebase is operated by Hannah Morrison, a sole trader trading as Bridebase ("Bridebase", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Bridebase is a digital wedding planning application. We provide checklists, budget tools, guest list and RSVP management, wedding website building, curated product recommendations, and an in-app text planning assistant ("Bella") that generates written planning suggestions. Bridebase is a wedding planning tool with assistant features — it is not a general-purpose AI service, it offers no image, video, music, or voice generation, and it provides no API access to the underlying models. Bridebase is an informational and organizational tool — it is not a substitute for professional financial, medical, or legal advice.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. You must be at least 16 years old to use Bridebase, and you confirm the information you provide is accurate.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. For eligible purchases, Stripe also handles tax calculation, collection and filing, fraud protection, refunds and payment-related customer support on our behalf. Where Stripe takes on this role, your bank or card statement may show LINK.COM* Bridebase and the checkout page shows standardized payment terms that apply to your purchase. Stripe's terms govern payment processing for purchases made through the checkout.

Bridebase Pro is offered as a recurring monthly subscription or a one-time "Wedding Pass." The monthly subscription begins with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial; unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at $10 per month and renews monthly until canceled. The Wedding Pass is a single payment of $49.99 and does not renew. You can cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Assistant features

What the assistant does. Bella is a text-based planning assistant. It generates written suggestions such as checklist items, budget guidance, vendor questions, message and email drafts, and wedding website copy, based on the prompts you send and the planning data in your account. We do not offer image, audio, video, or music generation, or API access to the underlying models.

Accuracy. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. It is provided for general planning purposes only and is not financial, legal, medical, nutritional, or other professional advice. You must review and verify any output before relying on it, particularly anything relating to contracts, payments, budgets, health, or wellness. Bridebase is not liable for decisions you make based on AI output.

Your prompts and your use of output. You are responsible for the content you submit to the AI, for confirming you have the rights to submit it, and for how you use anything it returns. Do not submit other people's personal data without a lawful reason to do so, and do not submit confidential or sensitive information you are not permitted to share.

Ownership and takedown. As between you and us, you keep ownership of the content you submit and, to the extent permitted by law, of the output generated for you. AI output is generated automatically and may not be unique to you. If you believe content on Bridebase infringes your intellectual property, email support@bridebase.app with the details and the location of the content; we will review and remove infringing material, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Moderation. We may filter, restrict, or refuse AI outputs, remove content, apply usage limits, and suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Bridebase, including its AI features, to:

• break the law, or produce, request, or distribute unlawful content;
• create deepfakes, impersonate any person or organization, or generate content designed to deceive or defraud;
• produce hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that incites violence;
• produce sexual content involving minors, or any child sexual abuse material — we report this to the authorities;
• infringe intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights;
• create or distribute malware, spam, or phishing content;
• attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or otherwise bypass safety filters, usage limits, or paywalls;
• resell, redistribute, or expose the AI assistant as a competing or standalone AI service;
• scrape, bulk-query, or automate access to the service, or probe or interfere with its security.

7. Intellectual property

Bridebase and all related software, content, designs, branding, and documentation are owned by Hannah Morrison or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms and your selected plan. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute any part of the service.

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. guest lists, notes). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you.

8. Third-party links

Bridebase recommends products and services from third parties (including affiliate links). We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the service, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

10. Disclaimer and liability

Bridebase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
